WHO ARE WE?
Taragalt Association for Development and Volunteering and Cultural Exchange
was founded in 2012 by a group of young Moroccans aiming at social cooperation and humanitarian development in regions suffering from poverty and lack of infrastructure. Through travel arrangements and solidarity and volunteer projects, we also work as a bridge between people having an interest in Morocco and its diverse heritage. Our volunteer projects will promote intercultural exchange through a voluntary commitment in a spirit of tolerance, respect and brotherhood.
To make young people from different cultures the chance to interact with the local population in an unfamiliar environment, they can learn how to live and cooperate with the locals by putting their energy into serving the community and, at the same time, discover both their differences and – not least – their similarities. For this reason, Taragalt Association for Development and Volunteering and Cultural Exchange
contributes to the development of international youth exchanges.
OUR OBJECTIVES
-To take part in our country sustainable development and fair tourism .
- To bring under attention the poverty which is reality for a lot of people in the area and to create a common understanding amongst different cultures in the world .
- To support educational, social and cultural projects in the region which can hardly be realized without the aid of volunteers .
- To favor and promote international youth exchanges, through the means of voluntary service, regardless of social, racial or religious background to develop personal commitment in a group or individual activity.
- To organize and supervise workcamps, in partnership with concerned associations and authorities .
-Provide a comprehensive education of the person (especially to young people), promoting values of solidarity, responsibility, justice, and work for peace from the commitment with the neighborhood, the city and the international coexistence.

-Create a cooperative world to face up to common challenges.
- To strengthen the values of friendship, peace and solidarity between individuals and peoples.
-Promote cultural, social and academic integration among volunteers from several countries.
